The Adult Psychiatric Program serves adults age 18 and up who are suffering from a range of psychiatric issues. Treatment is available for depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, anxiety, and other mental health conditions. At our facility, which is convenient to Greenville and areas throughout the Upstate, SC, we offer a 24-hour assessment and referral service that provides patients with a free, confidential, and professional evaluation through which individual needs are established and an appropriate treatment plan is identified.
As part of our Psychiatric/Dual Diagnosis Inpatient Program, the treatment team at our Upstate, SC facility provides 24-hour intensive nursing and medical management along with a concentrated complement of therapeutic groups. Family programs are offered for all programs with educational and therapeutic components. This integrated treatment approach is focused on providing positive outcomes for our patients dealing with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric conditions.
The Adult Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. There is an optional multi-family session held every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Session topics include relaxation techniques, anger management, stress management, assertiveness training, and communication skills. There is an emphasis on relapse prevention, medication, and illness education.
The Adult Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. There is an optional multi-family education session held every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Educational topics include relaxation techniques, anger management, stress management, assertiveness training, and communication skills. There is a focus on relapse prevention, medication and illness education.
