Adolescent Psychiatric

Serving patients ages 12 to 17, the Adolescent Psychiatric Program provides treatment and counseling for a number of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and emotional problems. At the Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, our team of specialists recognizes and understands the unique needs of adolescent patients dealing with psychological disorders. Our facility is convenient to Greenville and areas throughout the Upstate, SC, and offers an array of treatment options to meet a variety of needs.


The inpatient program provides 24-hour supervision and care with a focus on stabilization of immediate concerns as well as support for ongoing treatment needs. To further strengthen the patientsí support networks, family members are involved in weekly counseling sessions at our Greenville, SC facility.

Partial Hospitalization

The Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) meets Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The program consists of group therapy, educational sessions, and activity therapy sessions. Other program components include two hours of study time per day, weekly sessions with a psychiatrist, and individual family sessions as needed.
